FLAWS

How come some people are struggling to find flaws in everything and forgetting to see what's good in everything ?

Flaws.

Everybody has them. Everything has them. Some has less flaws than others but nothing has no flaws. Ironically enough, having no flaws is a flaw because then it isn't natural.

So why look for flaws when you know you everything, and everybody, already has them ?

You could also spend the rest of your life only seeing what's best in everything, but that wouldn't be good either.

Flaws exists because they have to . Flaws are what distinguish people, animals or other things from everything else. "I have to wide shoulders", "My nose is too big" or "my teeth are yellow" are normal flaws. But think... What if you didn't have any flaws ? what if your shoulders were perfect, your teeth were perfect and your nose was perfect ? Well that is impossible. Something "perfect" doesn't really exist. Every person has different likes and dislikes so every persons flaws varies. Some might have large shoulders and likes them but dislikes their yellow teeth.

And someone might have yellow teeth, doesn't care and only dislikes her large shoulders.

Flaws are only flaws if you see them as something bad. If you don't then you are perfect just the way you are !

Dear Internet blog diary.

Today I went to Stockholm ! Why ? Well I went to stockholm to try on a hat !

A hat? Yes a hat ! And stop talking to yourself/Myself !

Yes ! Today I went to Stockholm, the main city of Sweden, to try on a hat. But not any hat at all ! This hat was from the *drumroll*.... FIFTH AVENUE SHOE REPAIR !!!

I love fifth avenue shoe repair ! This brand is probably my absolute favorite swedish brand including Acne !

So I arrived at the store at about two-o'clock in the afternoon. The store was not too big, in fact it was very small, but it was very nicely decorated ! From the ceiling hanged loads of staircase shelves in black with loads of clothes sitting on them. The clothes sat very nice and tidy folded in small piles on each level of the shelf. On the walls hanged cool sculptures/shelves in steel !

The ground floor was the largest area with most of the clothes. I went down there and took a look. The first thing my eyes attracted was the gorgeous hat ! I walked towards it.

I stood there in front of the hat for about a half an hour which made many costumers believe that I was a shop assistant and started to ask me questions and such. I shyly whispered that I didn't know since I wasn't a shop assistant...

After several of more minutes I swallowed my shyness and took the hat upstairs to buy it.

A nice (real) shop assistant named Maria helped me :)

I walked out of the store with pride ! I did it !! :D

So the hat is a fedora. It has a gorgeous facade and an ,even more gorgeous, pattern.

The pattern is an explosion of flowers in all kinds of beautiful and strong colors ! The colors break out in a beautiful black background and a black lining.

The classical facade and structure gets a nice twist with the very colorful and explosive flora pattern.

ACNE on my neck!

Hey !

So finally after a few days of moaning and struggle not to die of anticipation, my beautiful Acne scarf arrived in my mailbox :D !

well not really in my mailbox... I had to pick it up at a place near my house :) (which wasn't a very big bother).

It came in a plastic, see through, wrapper inside a white box inside a white bag sealed with glue (or something). After all ripping and tearing I finally got my scarf out of the plastic !

So it is VERY gorgeous ! it is a grey/black/navy scarf with fringes at both ends. It is very soft and very nice ! It is made out of 80% cotton and 20% polyester.

I will probably wear it every day (when autumn comes which is soon...I hope.... or not).

Although it IS my scarf and it is very pretty I can't help but wonder what I will wear to this ? I have almost nothing that would go with this... I guess it is time to refresh my wardrobe a bit :S !

So yeah.... thats all i guess.... Here is a picture of me and the scarf !

YAAAAY ! well.... Those things are pretty lame, but still AWESOME !

So lately it has been raining a lot...

bad news for some but GREAT news for me ! you see I LOVE rainy days ! not just cause its a reason to crawl down in he couch under a warm blanket while eating ice cream and watching a long lost childhood movie, NOOOO ! its because I LOVE the rain !

the rain is how I feel represents those "little things that you can't live without".

Rain is the thing that many people dispute! they think "why does it have to rain?".

Well, the rain is hated by SO may people, but lets think about the things the rain has to offer us HUMANS (or plants, trees, eggs, aliens, mutants, zombies idk) :

Without rain we would probably be dead by now. No water, no fruits, no animals, NOTHING !

so think before you say something like that !

just because you've been nice and listened to my nag, heres a song that reminds me of rain !

7 things to do when your head feels like its been struck by a giant mushroom.

Hello ! sorry I havn't been posting lately... I've been very busy with life and other things... (is there other things besides life BTW).

So today I have been having this HORRIBLE headache. It has been nagging on my head throughout this whole day! I couldn't think clearly (which was very disturbing since we had a very important exam today). So I decided to put out a list on what to do when your head feels heavier than an elephant cheating on his diet...

SO this is what I do in order of how good the results are :

1. Take a shower : gives back the energy and makes the headache disappear!

2. Take a nap : makes the headache disappear! although you might loose value able blogging time...

3. DRINK !! : water is the most reliable liquid. Although it isn't very effective, it smothers down the pain... for a while.

4. Wet towel on your forehead : A great way to hold the pain, but not very efficient when you take it of (then the pain comes back, owie)!

5. Go out ! : a good way to get your headache smothered...for a while....

6. Think of something else : Thinking of something else makes you forget about your headache....until you remember it, then it will hurt again...

7. Complain about your problems : Complain to others about your problems. Nag until your voice feels rough...that makes your pain feel a bit less hurting than you describe it... BUT ! (yes there's always a but) many people doesn't surprisingly like when people complain about their problems (for some reason)...

Hey !

Yesterday me and my friends Sara and Dilan was out window shopping ! it was really fun, but my feets still feel like mashed potatoes that has been in the fridge for too long :S !

We went to see some of the most awesomest things ! like the prada shoes with the plastic crystals and an AWESOME osar de la renta dress !

anyways here is my point with this post.

Yesterday I saw these wonderful clutches from bottega venetta, alexander mcqueen etc. and I tought, why not make a post about this ? So I did ! well... I am making it right now but you get my point.

gorgeous huh ? this clutch was made by Lanvin and is very pretty and cute ! Looks like something I could buy if I could afford it... not that I would wear it though...

The always so surprising Judith Leiber with this gorgeous clutch that looks like a beehive !

First I thought it was some kind of decoration my granny would put over her telly , but noooooo

its a clutch !! As you can see its very expensive... or atleast look very expensive...and it is.

Diane von furstenberg ! gorgeous !! It looks like some kind of future robot...from the future ! but then again, its a clutch. Isn't it fab ? Reminds me a bit of lego and spongebob squarepants !

The lyrics are great , I didnt undertsand "I like to say anything goes" though, until I thought about it more and it means something like : I usually say that anything can happen .

I think that beauty comes much more from the inside, then it does on the outside.

Although it isn't the best place to say this (since this is a fashion blog) it actually does !

I mean, I like people who is kind and sweet more then a beauty fixated freak !

But although fashion could be seen as "only on the outside" or "shallow" (well it is shallow) , fashion is so much more.

Fashion AND style comes from the inside, its how you feel, what you like , your way of thinking and your very own perspective that creates a look and a design ! the very best designs comes from the inside !! The best looks such as clothings from Mcqueen, Comme des Garcons and even Chanel in the begginging was new, creative and self standing ! not very shallow and very brave to wear since it is more like an expression then a thing you wear.

Today I will show you how to look like like a super hot hamburger with extra fries (and maybe a strawberry milkshake, but don't tell my mom).

I will tell you how to make the "alexander mcqueeen fall 2009 look ! (weee) !

I know it might be easy, but i had NO idea how to make those strange bubbly things on the models faces in the alexander mcqueen s/s 2010 collection O.o

soooo... LETS START !

but first of all :

buy some make up (or in my case, stalk my moms make-up bag and look for the needed stuff).

this is what you need :

red lipstick

very white and pale foundation/powder

lipgloss : pink

an ugly white hat/cap

1. Bend your hair back

(keeping your long black hair from falling down on your

face while putting on makeup like a real drag queen).

2.Put on a white cap/hat to keep your hair from falling down(for best results, an ugly white cap).

3. Put on powder/Foundation (very pale and white).

Foundation would be the best for those who has dark eyebrows :S ...

sadly I couldn't find any in my moms make-up bag...

3. NOW ! put on lipstick ! ..... wait ! hold up ! Don't I look like "Maria Montazami" right now ?

"I put on Lipstick... 50 times a day" !

YEH thats how cool I am !

just like a pair of cherries !

anyways, circle the lipstick around your lips a few times :))

this is the results !! its getting more and more like the real version ! :D

4. Put on your Lipgloss ( it will make the lipstick blend in to your face and make you look really like a dragqueen ....well only in my case).
And, here is your result !!! It got quite good ! just that my eyebrows showed up too much :(

But, I mean thats what you get for having black hair :(

Yeh ! THATS a hot chipotle !!! While I still have My make-up on, why not take some awesome posing-pictures !?

(I only showed one of my many poses, because the others are private.... yeh, they contain pictures of pages in my diary )!

so there you have it ! a full story on how to make Alexander Mcqueeen make-up styling !

WAIT !!!!!!! hold up girl !...or GAL ! a tip if you REALLY wanna look like that , paint two used up soda cans with white paint. Before it has gotten to dry, take a cap/at and put the two cans at each sides. After that , wrap your head with plastic foil , and you have a winner !!

PS. It was a true pain in the cheap monday jeans to take the make-up off from your face....

I'm still red around my lips :S !

Mcqueen and a face-less person ?

This is something i made a LONG time ago....

its not very good, but i put a lot of work on it, so i thought it deserved a place in the sunshine (if you know what i mean hehe).

Not really sure about it... not great, but I guess it could be classfied as "creative" in a boring kind of way.

I was a bit inspired by "marchesa", LOVE marchesa ! or should I say Marchesa with a major M ? that looks more... preposterous..... (I have NO idea what I just said...).

well that brings me to the subject Mcqueen (what ? how did we get there ?) .

Alexander Mcqueen launched their last collection two days ago (R.I.P).

It is quite sad cause the collection only contained 16 dresses !!

The dresses/skirt with shirts had a very medieval theme with a lot of cool "balmain-ish"

patterns.

Although one of the dresses looked awfully like another dress from one of his past collections , that will say his fall collection 2006 .... actually this whole collection looked like it...

It is really like " a day at the spa" compared to his spring collection ...

It really doesnt have that WOWSY WOOO factor like

"if i wore that outside , people would stare at me like I'm some kind of freakishly hot chippotle with aweshum , but strange clothes"

but of course it does have a very special ,beautiful yet a bit abnormal and creative touch !!

The collection had a quite angelish touch which is sad since he died...

Oh ! and there is a rumor that Alexander Mcueen will be having a new chief designer (Gareth Pugh) !!!! I LOVE him !!

I made it because i just LOVE paisley and flowers !!I've always loved this kind of picture, calm, hazy (y'know what i mean , mhm) , editorial , very detailed and with a dash of oddity !

BTW is it just me or does the person wearing that dress remind you of Bailey from "the suite life on deck" ? not...that i watch it or anything.... cause i do....
